 Dayton’s Best Places to Work Awards

March 2008 – Grandview and Southview, as member hospitals of Kettering Health Network, are named two of "Dayton’s Best Places to Work" by the Dayton Business Journal (DBJ). This recognition comes from the positive responses of Network employees who voluntarily take the DBJ Best Places to Work survey.

January 2008 – Grandview and Southview are the only Dayton hospitals and one of only 63 American hospitals to earn the Distinguished Hospital Award from HealthGrades for five consecutive years (2004-2008). The award places Grandview and Southview Hospitals in the top five percent for overall clinical quality.
October 2007 – Grandview Medical Center receives multiple 2008 HealthGrades Five-Star distinctions for treatment of heart failure, heart attack, stroke, overall pulmonary care, pneumonia, bowel obstruction, sepsis, respiratory failure and diabetic acidosis and coma.
2007 - Five-star rated by HealthGrades for treatment of stroke and heart failure as well as the only hospitals in the Dayton central area to be ranked among the top five percent in the nation for overall pulmonary care and among the top 10 percent for GI services.
