Are you at risk for
developing cancer?
While some cancers are inherited or caused by unknown factors, as many as one-third of
all U.S. cancer deaths could be prevented through better nutrition, increased exercise,
stopping smoking, and lifetime weight control. Regular screening examinations by a health
care professional can also help to find cancers in their earliest stages, when treatment
is more likely to be successful.
Kettering Medical Center is pleased to offer a variety of free educational presentations
about cancer prevention and early detection, cancer treatments, and resources at various
Kettering Health Network hospitals and health centers. To request a cancer
