Stroke Center of Excellence
On December 18, 2006, Grandview and Southview Hospitals were recognized as the first-ever Primary Stroke Center of Excellence by receiving accreditation from the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP). A five-star rating from HealthGrades and a certificate of distinction from HFAP demonstrates the commitment of the Primary Stroke Center team to continue in the forefront of diagnosis and treatment for cerebrovascular diseases.
